Chocolate and Its Display in the V&A Museum
Chocolate is one of the products that makes our life brighter, sweatier and tastier. Moreover, it is a symbol of love and care, because mothers and fathers pamper their children with chocolate; lovers treat each other with chocolate. Is it the result of advertisement? Of course not, many people love chocolate; even my puppies eat it with pleasure.
Of course, advertisement plays a big role in the goods' promotion, but, in fact, chocolate, as a product, practically does not need it; Only chocolate factories require publicity, while, chocolate is eternal pleasure. It can be bitter with a lot of cacao, it can be sweat, with milk or white. Anyway, it is tender and tasty. I eat chocolate when I am writing an essay paper or some complicated parts of my masters thesis writing or other hard tasks. Chocolate is known as one of the best natural brain stimulators. It is tasty from both imaginative and physical points of sensation, as it inspired not only cooks but also writers, artists and other art workers. Nowadays, chocolate is the main ingredient in many dishes. Moreover, it became an inalienable part of contemporary culture.
V&A Museum holds a wonderful small display devoted to the questions of chocolate history, origins, recipes and secrets of making in the USA and Europe. The exhibition represents various illustrations and drawings on ceramics, connected with chocolate, metal works, prints, postcards, and many other objects which carry signs of human enduring love with the amazing and mouthwatering sweat “chocolate”.
